show Abstracthide Abstract
To uncover the selective forces shaping lifespan evolution, we investigate the genomicbasis underlying adaptations to seasonal habitat desiccation in African killifishes, identifying the genetic variants associated with positive and relaxed purifying selectionin 45 killifish species (4 reference genomes assembled) and 231 wild individuals distributed throughout sub-SaharanAfrica.
Sample: Wild-caught individual of Nothobranchius pienaari, population MZCS215 from DRY climate
